The mask of the enchantress by Victoria Holt
Book Number:RC 15801
3 sound cassettes
Joel Mateland and his lover Anabel take their illegitimate child Suewellyn
from England to primitive Ulcan Island in the South Pacific after Joel kills
his evil brother and flees his ancestral home, Mateland Castle. After many
peaceful years, Suewellyn becomes a young woman and is alarmed when her
double, Joel’s legitimate daughter, shows up to make mischief.
Well, an oldie, but a goody. Especially when it's the last book on the
shelf. Luckily I got a few more in the mail over the weekend. This was
classic Victoria Holt. I give it a 2 out of 5. Fairly predictable.
Happy Reading,
Carla/TexasRed
